The Classen Inn, built in 1963, is a prime example of Googie architecture, with a shape inspired by the geometry and space-infused design of the early-to-mid 20th century. The building was calling out to be revitalized, and Aimee Ahpeatone and Steve Mason responded with a resounding hurrah!
Oklahoma City has seen inspired development over the past decade, with pocket neighborhoods springing back to life with diverse and exciting identities. Classen Boulevard runs right through the best of them. Classen Inn sits at the heart of a city in love with revitalization.
